Logeren
Vanaf het moment dat de twee elkaar in de kleuterklas tegenkwamen was het raak. Het eerste half jaar van hun schoolleven hebben ze hand-in-hand doorgebracht. Blijkbaar is er niet alleen bij volwassenen, maar ook tussen kleuters zoiets als onwaarschijnlijke aantrekkingskracht. Zielsverwanten. Na de kleuterschool werden ze verdeeld over verschillende klassen. Dat is achteraf maar goed ook, anders hadden we nooit andere vriendjes over de vloer gekregen.
In de tussenliggende jaren kwamen er meer contacten, maar nooit verloren ze elkaar echt uit het oog. Nu zitten ze weer samen in groep zeven, maar na de zomer gaat mijn kind naar een andere school. Ze maken zich allebei grote zorgen dat ze elkaar zullen kwijtraken. Ik probeer ze uit te leggen dat de vriendschap die zij hebben wel tegen een stootje kan. Veel logeren. Luchtbedden opblazen, tegen elkaar aan leggen in 'het geheime hol', zaklampen onder de dekens en ouwehoeren maar. Ze hebben afgesproken dat ze later samen op kamers gaan.
