Wachtende honden-7
Het is zoals ik vermoedde: wachtende honden fotograferen is net zoiets als het fotograferen van onbekende kinderen. Ik voel me steeds een beetje ongemakkelijk. Als er een wachtende hond in de buurt is kijk ik eerst of er ook een waakzame mensenblik aan vastzit. Die is er meestal niet, daarom wachten die honden ook, dus ik doe maar iets als god zegene de greep en ik hoor het wel als er een vragend of woedend baasje aangestormd komt. Tot nu toe waren er twee: een vrouw die het allemaal maar raar vond en snel de halsband losmaakte en wegbeende. Een andere vrouw vroeg me wat ik aan het doen was. Ik legde dat uit en ze vroeg niet verder. Ik bood haar aan de foto's te mailen en ze gaf me middenin de Hema haar emailadres. Dat vond ik persoonlijker dan het vastleggen van haar hond, maar natuurlijk deed ik het onmiddellijk. Ze was blij met mijn gemailde foto's. Dit hondje bleek een oud hondje en het was zo'n beetje haar kind. Hij heet Pim.
Maar het heeft iets stiekems en dat bevalt me niet. Ik maak gehaaste foto's, bang om ontdekt te worden. Maar ik kan toch moeilijk bij iedere winkel gaan trompetteren dat ik nu een foto van de hond bij de ingang ga maken?

Hehe, je kunt toch moeilijk in de winkel via intercom laten omroepen: "ATTENTIE, de hond die buiten aangelijnd wacht, wordt NU op de foto gezet. Wanneer de eigenaar of eigenaresse dit niet wil, kan die zich komen melden." Ik heb me nooit gerealiseerd dat het zo ging, met die foto's maken.

Ik vind het prachtige foto's. Iets voor een boek met mooie plaatjes. Misschien kun je volgende keer zeggen dat je kunstenaar bent en aan een boek werkt...
